OUTDOOR Dog Park Rules

We live and work here, so please treat our home with respect. Thank you!

We have PARK#1 and PARK#2. PLEASE BE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK WHICH PARK YOU HAVE BOOKED FOR AS WELL AS THE DATE AND TIME SO YOU DON'T SHOW UP AT THE WRONG TIME OR AT THE WRONG PARK! These details are all located in your booking confirmation email as well as your reminder email. You can also see your bookings by logging into our online booking system as well.

Please remember your time is 50 minutes, we recommend setting a timer on your phone for 45 minutes so you don’t run late. If you cause the visitors after you to lose any of their park time you will be responsible to pay for their visit.

1. When you arrive, if the VIP Parking area for the park you have booked for is vacant that means the previous visitors have vacated the park and you can now park in the VIP and begin your visit.  If the VIP Parking area is occupied then please locate a parking spot in the waiting parking lot and wait for your turn to occupy the VIP Parking area and begin your visit.  You MUST PARK IN VIP while you are occupying the park. The waiting parking area is exclusively for the next party who is waiting to start their visit. All parking areas are clearly marked with signage. PARK#1 signage is RED and PARK#2 signage is BLUE. We will include a link to the video explaining the parking process in your booking confirmation email as well as your reminder email. You can also VIEW PARKING INSTRUCTIONS VIDEO HERE.

2. Please proceed along the marked path to your designated dog park. ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED upon arrival and stay leashed until you have entered the fenced and secured dog park area.   We have two parks so it is of the utmost importance that all dogs stay in their allowable spaces and are under fully leashed control when not inside the secured parks. We cannot risk that they hear other dogs, or see rabbits, squirrels and even deer that move through our yard and take off after them on the loose.

3. We ask that you pick up after your dog, and if you see a mess someone else missed (whether dog mess or a stray coffee cup), please dispose of it in the provided garbage cans.  We will do our best to have poop bags available at the park entrances in case you forget yours, but we cannot promise that they may be out from time to time so please remember to bring yours as well.

4. The parks are illuminated during hours of darkness, but please bring a flashlight along - it will help you find your dogs poop!

5. Our dog parks are securely fenced and gated. Park#1 is approx. 1.5 acres and PARK#2 is approx. 2.5 acres. Both parks are enclosed with a 5 foot high wire fence and the openings in the wire are 4” x 4” squares.

6. Smoking is not permitted. The entire property is strictly NO SMOKING for cleanliness and safety! We have beautiful forested land that needs to be protected. Anyone smoking on the property will be asked to leave and permanently banned from future visits. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

7. All visits are by appointment only: no drop-ins. Please reserve your time online HERE.
 

8. Dogs and children MUST be supervised by someone over the age of 18 years. Do not leave children or dogs unattended in the dog park or anywhere on the premises.
 

9. Toys such as frisbees and balls are allowed in the park but NO TENNIS BALLS PLEASE AS THEY ARE CHOKING HAZARDS FOR MANY DOGS; please take care to keep them inside the fence. However, if you lose one over the fence you are welcome to exit the park to retrieve it BUT YOU MUST LEAVE YOUR DOG INSIDE THE PARK WHILE DOING SO. We will also have a lost and found bin at the entrance to each park for unclaimed items.
 

10. Please be careful with dog treats or your snacks. Dropped food could be a problem for the next visitor.
 

11.  We are NOT responsible for lost items such as dog toys and personal belongings.
 

12. We supply a water pail and a fresh water tap in each park during warm weather. Otherwise in freezing temperatures you need to bring your own water source and dish.
 

13. Areas outside of the fenced-in parks are NOT an off-leash area. Your dog must be on leash going to and from your vehicle.
 

14. Be mindful of your scheduled time. Returning to your vehicle promptly at the end of your reserved time ensures a relaxed arrival for the next visitor. Visits are 50 minutes and the next visitor is booked on the hour. This should give ample time for each person to be back at their vehicle before the next visitor's time begins. Remember that some dogs come to play here because they do not like meeting other dogs. If there are vehicles in the VIP parking area when you arrive then that means the previous party is still present in the park or making their way back to the VIP parking area. We recommend setting a timer on your phone for the 45 minute mark which gives you time to make your way back to the entrance of the park to vacate in time. Do not enter the park if it is occupied by someone. PLEASE WAIT IN THE WAITING PARKING LOT UNTIL THE VIP PARKING IS VACANT. THEN YOU CAN PARK IN THE VIP PARKING AREA AND BEGIN YOUR VISIT.  You can also VIEW PARKING INSTRUCTIONS VIDEO HERE. If it is the start time of your your visit and the previous visitors have not vacated the park yet then please text us 780-717-3655 and we will address that situation immediately. We trust that all visitors will be mindful and courteous of each other and the rules but we will step in if need be.
 

15. Always latch the gate when you arrive and leave. ALWAYS LOCK THE SAFETY LATCH once inside so no one can accidentally enter the park while you are in there. THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY.

16. There is a grey porta potty on the north side of the waiting parking area by the entrance to our property. As you turn into our driveway from the road you will see it on your right side.
 

17. Keep your dog at home if they have a cough, diarrhea, worms, fleas, or signs of illness.
